amazing spot for exploring oaxaca's rich culture and landmarks

I loved how close the hotel was to the Zocalo and Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzman, and the staff were wonderfully attentive. For a single traveler like me, the clean and cozy room offered a perfect retreat after long walks through the vibrant streets, but the air conditioning could use some upgrades.

Everything there were beautiful, including beautiful facilities. The room was beautifully maintained with a window in the bedroom, Oaxaca's chocolate plus comfortable beds, I felt comfortable there:)))...  

Honestly nothing to complain about. Good-sized room overall, with hand painted decor. Fabulous meal at rooftop restaurant.

The chlorophyll water in the lobby was a nice touch, made our arrival cute. If you're looking for a quiet place a bit away from the hustle, this might work for you.

Stylish, clean hotel in a safe area. Marvellous and gorgeous location, within easy walking distance of a whole church. Exceptional staff, enjoyable breakfast with the best tortillas and lovely wine, for example. ...  

Romantic hotel, breakfast each day was tasty and the location down to the main city center was stunning! Loved our stay here.

Can't recommend highly enough for a concise stay

Cozy room, clean bathroom, with good coffee and breakfast right outside our door that was very enjoyable every morning during my five-night stay.

It was perfect.

The hotel has a lovely charm and colorful decor that adds to its appeal. Staff members go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. I enjoyed relaxing at the rooftop terrace restaurant, where the food was fresh and the ambiance was perfect for dining. The location is great, just a 15-minute stroll to the main plaza, perfect for exploring but far enough from the busy streets for a peaceful stay. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. On the downside, my room had inconsistent hot water, made showers frustrating at times. The air conditioning had a faint musty smell, suggesting it might need servicing. The WiFi connection in my room was practically nonexistent, inconvenient for planning the next part of my trip.

A good spot for a relaxing getaway

I really enjoyed the lovely upstairs bar, surrounded by plants, and it was perfect. Plus, the staff was super friendly, especially the bartender who whipped up some fantastic mezcal drinks.

It wasn't cheap, but I guess for what you get, it's still acceptable.

Los Pilares was a real gem! The breakfasts were off the charts, especially the mushroom egg dish that had me dreaming of mornings. Plus, the staff was kind and helpful. The charming decor added so much...  

I had a wonderful stay with cozy spots to relax in the sunny courtyard and the lovely potted plants everywhere. The king room was spacious, and I really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day of exploring 🌞. Just be aware that noise from the lobby can travel a bit, so light sleepers might want to keep that in mind.

Los Pilares Hotel was a wonderful experience! The staff were helpful and kind, and. We enjoyed relaxing in our well-decorated room with a spacious shower and comfy bed. The terrace restaurant was a highlight, offering fine views and delicious Oaxacan...

More attention to noise levels, please.

Chic ambiance with a friendly staff. The locally inspired dishes in the cozy terrace restaurant were highlights, particularly the homemade pastries. The location was tranquil, a 10-15 minute walk from the busy tourist spots and equipped with a charming courtyard for relaxation. Some early morning noise from the lobby was noticeable, and I wished for more sunbathing space around the small pool. Despite that, it was fantastic.
